Women's Treatment Group

This 8-week group is both psycho-educational and processed-based, and is for females (aged 25+) who are looking for support around making changes to substance use, and for those who have achieved some stability with regards to their substance use goals. This group may also be helpful for those who may be uncertain about their goals and are looking for a safe environment to gain new information and insight into their next steps. Topics include: Introduction to Group, Understanding Substance Use, Self Care, Healthy Relationships, Communication and Assertiveness, Anger & Fear (Feelings- Part 1), Grief, Loss, Sadness, Shame & Guilt (Feelings- Part 2), and Relapse Prevention & Hope. Individuals must be registered clients of the agency to access this group. Please connect with your individual counsellor to register.
