PURPOSE

WHO
Women who have completed an assessment at ASYR and are referred by their counsellor.

WHAT
A 2-hour group occurring one evening a week in the fall, winter and spring. Each session addresses a different topic related to substance use. Group members are able to work on their goals around their substance use. Topics include stress management, leisure, assertiveness, function of drug use, nutrition, relationships, violence against women, self-esteem, anger and conflict resolution.
