Thursday, December 7, 2017 –
The Mindfulness Group will be based on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program and the Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention program which incorporates tools and strategies that relate specifically to experiences with Addictions.
Group members will learn the foundations of a mindfulness practice, the neuroscience and benefits of practice, tools for developing mindfulness (through both formal and informal practices); and will be engaging in mindfulness exercises throughout the course.
To gain to most benefits, clients will be encouraged to develop their own daily Mindfulness Practice, in addition to completing any weekly activities.
