Keep It Real – Community Discussion

Addiction Services for York Region (ASYR) was the recipient of seed funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to embark upon a research project to explore attitudes, behaviours and concerns from youth in York Region around substance use. As part of this project, ASYR worked closely with members of the Drug Strategy Committee of York Region. We engaged a facilitator and hired several youth and trained them to be facilitators. Some of the youth involved as facilitators have lived with experience with substance use.
