Are you part of a community at risk of drug, alcohol or gambling problems?
Could your community use culturally sensitive programs?
At ASYR, we focus on you and your recovery. We are committed to providing accessible, inclusive, and culturally competent services to diverse communities.
Who We Help
The Community Outreach Program is designed to support the recovery, health and well-being of individuals or families who identify with substance use and/or gambling issues, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, in need, isolated, are vulnerable, under represented or who are unable to access traditional programs of treatment.
The program is for:
- Individuals who are 12 years or older
- Groups who are interested in learning more about substance use and gambling through community presentations
How We Help
The program aims to enhance the quality of life, to focus on strengths, build resilience, and support the integration of the person into the community.
- Assessment, treatment, and referrals for alcohol, drug-related and gambling issues to other health professionals and community agencies
- Raising awareness about substance use and gambling through community presentations and education
Where We Help
The Community Outreach Program sees clients in the community. Presentations on substance use and gambling are also available in the community.
